Doug,
That's quite the build-up for Newport. Praying for light air. Finally sailing with Nick again. Just as everyone has gotten their amped up Ullman mains, we've switched to the Ashby main, which World A-Class champ Glenn Ashby, designed especially for Nick and I at 290 lbs. FYI, Ashby is begging to build an HT main for one of the more normal teams in terms of weight (IE 340-360 lbs).
Ashby main seems easier to tune, easier to trim, less critical on rotation. Should be fun to see if us lightweights can hang in the breeze. The stiff Riba mast may keep us from finding that highest gear.

Peter,
Nice photos, sorry I could not post them at full resolution.
You guys should be deadly with any main down wind at your weight. I am hoping it blows so we can get back in the hunt upwind.
Looking forward to racing and hanging out in Newport.
