Just a reminder to anyone who has not been to Lake Hartwell; make sure that you bring beach wheels and something to put under the hulls when beached. There are many rocks on shore! See you there. Chris

Thanks for the heads-up Chris, I am going to Wal Mart and get some of those cheap square boat cushions to put under the hulls. I also want to thank WF for all the hard work he has done all last week and this week to get the boats put together and hauled down to the regatta for us. We should all pitch in and buy his dinner and a couple of pitchers of Margaritas, don't you think? See you there. Tim+Tom

It is 10pm on Tuesday and ALL the F-18HTs (Javelin 2s) are at Lake Hartwell! It was not easy as the second load took 26 hrs to make it down! That's right, 26 HOURS, after a 17 hour delay in North Carolina with a burned up axel hub on my almost new Ford Excursion. Shame on Ford!
Tommorrow, I will see Jamie and Chris to help them finish assembling their Jav 2s, as well as set up my boat. I'm off to bed---got to sleep. See you'll soon!!!
Sail Fast and Light,
W.F.

While I was unable to attend the event, I understand that things went well for the fleet's first class event! I look forward to joining you guys. I understand that the boats went together well and suffered not breakdowns. This is very encouraging, as the boats were right out of the box.
I look forward to more reports of the boats performance and rigging tips.
