Mike,
This looks like an interesting design. Can you send another photo with the same view as the first photo posted? This pic is fuzzy.
I look forward to checking your system out and comparing it with the others in developement.

Last weekend I had some guys over with different boats for a practice race. We compared rudders, the Inter 20 and Nacra F18 rudder castings to the pintles on the HT. You would only have to move the top pintle down the transom about an inch to fit the Inter casting to the HT and you would have to shorten the tiller arms about 6" (on the F18 arms, more on the I 20 arms) to clear the traveler. You could then put our rudders into the Inter castings, and have their system (wich is nice....) for kickup and lock down. You may want to leave their rudders in place and see if it is easier to steer. The Inter rudders are heavier (solid glass) and smaller surface area but lighter steering forces. I don't know what Nacra charges for castings/tiller arms, but it would be a quick fix. Tim

I replaced pic 1 - hopefully it's clearer now.
An Inter 20 tiller arm, rudder, and castings price out at aprox $470 each.
I spent less than $100 to retrofit both rudders.
