Hi all,
I am posting a couple of thread topics to start discussions on those particular subjects, rather than the general "Class Business" thread that I initiated yesterday (too broad).
The following suggestions suggestions have been made for each respective month. I do not agree with all of them, but they have been raised. Please take the time to make your suggestions and comment. Hopefully,, we can "nail down" the 2003 schedule at the General Meeting on Saturday PM during the North Americans.
Speaking of the North Americans, please preregister online thru Cat Sailor Website, if you are CONSIDERING attendence.
Here are the suggestions to date-
January-Tradewinds in Key Largo
February-Key West Event
March-Perfomance Midwinters (Thank You Kirt)
April-Hogbreath 100
May-Deleware State Champs (Rehoboth)
June-Summer Sizzler, C-100
July-Sail Newport (NAs?), Barnegate Breezer,
August-Cat Fight IV
September-Rotan Point, Somewhere in Annapolis
October-F-18HT World Cup in Ft Walton Beach, Fla
November-Something in the South
December-
Additionally, Tim Bohan mentioned something in Mid-Florida (Anything more Tim?). The guys in the Northeast mentioned New Bedford and Bristol as possible venues. I would suggest something in the Midwest, so any ideas? I look forward to other suggestions and comment.

I am having a "chute out" at my house, Lake Jackson, Sebring, Fl. sometime this November...maybe the first Saturday, I'll post it once I get the days off. It is a practice type regatta, no fee, no Tee shirt, BYOB, and all are welcome to come and sail. As far as next year, I would be happy to host a regatta in the winter months because that's when the wind is. By then maybe there will be some more HT's in my area. If the class is going to do the Trade Winds regatta then on the way back north you can stop and race at my house...3 hour drive north of Key Largo. Cheaper motels in Sebring than in the Keys. I'm flexible so let me know if you are interested. Tim
