I made a post on the Cat Sailor Forum, asking for opinions regarding the F-18 class. Several Tiger sailors and one Nacra dealer answered. They were very helpful, for the most part. I few F-18HT owners also responded and gave me some good information and suggestions.
I was most impressed that all four F-18HT class members recommended that I speak to additional F-18HT class members and try to get out on a Javelin 2. None of your owners were critical of the Tiger or Nacra F-18, only recommending that I sail ALL of the boats and then decide. This is a refreshing approach.
Thank You and I will be meeting several of you at the Cat Fight later this month.
If anyone else would like to share there thoughts and experiences with there boats, please e-mail me at Nacracando@aol.com

Steve-
I am thrilled that you are taking the time to travel down to Virginia Beach this weekend, so that you can sail with me on the Jav2! I know that you will love it!
I am sure that many of our members will take the time to answer any questions that you may have about the class or their boats. The class is growing quickly and we already have three boats in your area. Hopefully, you wil make it FOUR!
See you soon.

Steve,
I live nearby and am also thinking about the F-18HTs. I see that you can leave me a personal message through this forum-COOL. Please leave me a message with your phone number and we will have to compare notes. I especially want to hear about your upcoming test sail. Unfortunately, I cannot make it down this weekend to Virginia.
Good luck and get back with me. We could have a fleet of five F-18HTs in the area very soon.

Jim,
How do I send you a private message?
While, I have not picked the Javelin 2 as my next boat, the fact that there are already several in my area and another in the wings does have a lot of weight. I will get back with you after my test sails on the F-18HT and Hobie Tiger.

Steve,
Looking over this class, their website, their membership, and their beatuiful craft, I am impressed all around.
Unfortunately, the class has not taken off on the West Coast. Is anyone considering a F-18HT in Northern California?
I might be willing to help organize a fleet, if others are interested.

Carl in a post of Chris Brown I read that a F18HT has been already sold to a guy living in the West Coast (Ken Marshack). Some other Californians are considering to buy a Javelin 2 (see the subject "Thinking about a new boat"). Anyway for more accurate info contact WF Oliver
