Hi all, in the August-September issue of Multihull World Magazine you'll find a 4 pages boat test of the Javelin 2 signed by Roy Laughlin with many pictures. I supposed that the boat tested is the one owned by Tim Bohan. Isn't it, Tim? I received it by Email from Wiebe Boumann, another future Javelin 2 owner from Singapore. It seems that the Javelin 2 diffusion is really spreading all over the world! Maurizio

Yes, Maurizio, that was me. Roy lives in Florida and writes for Multihulls World. At the last minute he was called to fill some empty space they had so he called me and we were able to get together on short notice. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, we had little or no wind, followed by thunderstorms and rain, so the sailing was less than exciting. The only good to come of it is you can see that even in very little wind we were able to sail and in one little puff even got it up on one hull for a minute. On any other (heavier) cat you would have been stopped dead in the water. I was sailing with my son, together we were about 320 lbs. I wish we had had a bit more wind for some exciting sailing photos. Central Florida in July is very light and spotty when it comes to wind! You guys come on down in October-April though, we will have some wind then. November is usually the best followed by March. See you in Key Largo...November. Tim
